Fouesnant is a commune in the Finistère department, in the Brittany region, in France. The commune is the capital of the canton of Fouesnant as well as of the community of communes of the Pays Fouesnantais (CCPF).
Located in the heart of the Cornish coast, about 15 km from Pont-l'Abbé, Quimper and Concarneau, and benefiting from one of the most extensive coastlines in Finistère, the town attracts many tourists and holidaymakers every year. With Bénodet and La Forêt-Fouesnant, Fouesnant now forms the “Breton Riviera”, a new tourist designation.
