 Anne Boleyn's Tomb
Anne Boleyn (c. 1501 – 19 May 1536) was the second wife of King Henry VIII of England and queen consort from 1533 to 1536. She was the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. Her marriage to Henry VIII was the catalyst for the complex, and often tragic, political and religious change that was the English Reformation. Accused of adultery, incest, and high treason, she was executed by beheading. It is now generally accepted that she was innocent of these charges.

She is buried in the Chapel Royal, St. Peter ad Vincula, in the Tower of London, very close to Tower Green, the site of her execution.

Her final resting place is marked in the marble floor by her coat of arms.

She is buried beneath the communion table, second from the left in the first row of graves. She lies between her brother George Boleyn and Edward Seymour, Duke of Somerset. Edward was the eldest brother of Jane Seymour, the third queen consort of Henry VIII. He served as Lord Protector of England during the minority of his nephew, Edward VI.
