FORUM IULLI, ROMAN COLONY
Forum Iulli was established between 49 and 43 BC. J-C by Julius Caesar on the edge of a natural bay. CRYPT OF THE ROMAN VIVIER AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
This visit allows you to first discover at the museum the major pieces from excavations in Fréjus since the 19th century, including the famous two-headed Hermès. You will then go to the archaeological crypt which preserves unique remains in our region. It is a Roman fish tank, illustrating the development of port and commercial activity during antiquity.

"THE MALPASSET DAM" SITE
